At least 1/3 of the population is still at work and as a result, is putting their family members at risk of contracting the coronavirus. Find out a few things you can do to protect your family during this predicament.
Coronavirus advice is being spat out left, right and center and while it might feel overwhelming to do it all, these are some small things that can make all the difference.
Over the next 2 weeks, the coronavirus is said to be at its peak. That means, being extra careful and taking the initiative to protect those you share a space with during these testing times. Prevention is better than cure. Live mindfully and respect the lives of those around you. No one wants to suffer and even though it is inevitable in the cycle of life there are some cases when we can consciously work towards preventing it and this may be one of those times. Additionally, remember that prayers move mountains.
1-
Do not wear your outdoor shoe inside of your home
Most people do not realize how much bacteria they are taking into their homes when they walk around the house wearing the same pair of shoes, they wore outdoor. It might be annoying to take your shoes off just to go pick up your phone because you forgot it in your room but do it anyway. In these challenging times, you must do what it takes to save your family from getting sick.
2-
Keep space clutter-free to advice everyone touching everything
The fewer things you have in the open for people to touch, the less shared contact will be made. Additionally, since most people are being challenged with spending 24/7 with family members, a clutter-free space can be good for mental health and prevent unnecessary frustration. This means an organized spaced to work, get tutored, and work on home projects for the time being.
3-
Keep all your outdoor dirty laundry in one basket to be washed up ASAP
Bacteria lingers on our clothing all the time. And while we cannot leave our clothes outside, we can still avoid leaving it any and everywhere around the house.
Personally, I work in a grocery store and therefore, still must work while my family is quarantining. It would be very unfair to them for me to spend the day being in contact with random strangers who may or may not have the virus and bring it home to them. Therefore, I come home and head straight for the shower, making sure to leave my laundry all in one place until it can be washed.
4-
Shower straight away after spending time outdoors and being in contact with others
In reference to the previous point, wash up after attending to your duties outdoor. This is just another initiative that you should take to prevent your family from contracting the coronavirus.
5-
Clean up your home and frequently touched surfaces using an antibacterial cleaner
This is a very straight-forward step. The coronavirus is obviously unseen but its wrath is unforgiving. you just don’t know. To prevent the lingering of the bacteria in your home, you must keep things clean.
6-
Gear up well by wearing clothes that cover well, along with mask and gloves
It is advised by many medical professionals to wear gloves and masks to prevent getting into contact with the bacteria and breathing it in. While the better option would be to stay home, it is not a luxury available to all of us and therefore, precautions should be taken. Cover up and gear up well because it is better to be safe than sorry.
